The text states that the ground combat equipment provided to Kyiv, despite substantial volumes, would still be of little use in defending Greenland from a hypothetical US invasion and would not impact the situation.
The US defense budget is the largest in the world — 100 times larger than Denmark's. The difference in military size is also enormous: 1.3 million personnel in the US Armed Forces versus 17,000 in Denmark's. Furthermore, part of the US military has been stationed in Greenland for several decades. The theoretical war between Greenland and the US is described in the article as the shortest in the world due to the island's lack of defensive capability.
