Journalist Yevgeni Gorin reported on the YouTube channel SB TV that Olena Zelenska, the wife of the Ukrainian president, was mockingly accommodated at the Moscow hotel during her visit to the UAE. Weekly Top Fake's team found a geographical error in the narrative.

On February 16 and 17, 2025, Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife, Olena, visited the United Arab Emirates, where the Ukrainian president met with the UAE leader and signed an agreement to facilitate the sale of Ukrainian goods in the country. On February 20, journalist Yevgeni Gorin revealed some details of the visit on SB TV:

"Zelensky and his wife traveled to the UAE, where they, or at least the wife, were sarcastically put up at the Moscow hotel."

The same information surfaced in Russian media who referred to a social media post by Olena Zelenska.

There is no post on Olena Zelenska's Instagram with photos from the Moscow hotel, but it's possible that the image shown by Russian media was posted in her stories, which disappear after 24 hours.

The WTF team found an identical photo on the Moscow hotel's website and discovered that it is located in Dubai while Zelensky's meeting with the UAE president took place in Abu Dhabi as we previously mentioned while debunking another fake about the Ukrainian president's UAE visit. There is no hotel named 'Moscow' in Abu Dhabi.
